TMI cooks millions of rashers of bacon every week from our Northampton facility, conveniently located in the heart of the U.K. Our commitment to innovation shines through in our range of products, from no added nitrite options to reduced-fat and low-salt products, with an enticing array of flavours including applewood, hickory, maple, and an award-winning coffee-infused bacon.

Our cooked streaky bacon options include light to medium, dark, and crispy strips, available in whole, half, quarter, and sixth pieces. In addition, we offer back bacon, pancetta, crispy bits, beef and a plant-based bacon, catering to discerning customers across leading retailers, food manufacturers, food processors and renowned global food brands.

Our Cooking Options

Light

Used for pizza and products with an extra cook (direct exposure). Yields between 40 – 43%.

Medium

Used for sandwiches, burger toppings & ready meals. Yields between 35% – 40%.

Dark

Used for sandwiches, burger toppings & salads. Yields between 30% – 35%.

Crispy

Used for ~sandwiches (same day usage), salads & retail. Yields between 20% – 30%.

Light

Used for pizza and products with an extra cook (direct exposure).
Yields between 40 – 43%.

Medium

Used for sandwiches, burger toppings & ready meals.
Yields between 35% – 40%.

Dark

Used for sandwiches, burger toppings & salads.

A Healthier Approach

Our No Added Nitrite Bacon

We replaced sodium nitrite (E250) with a natural flavouring (made from fruit & spices) that maintains the natural bacon colouring and flavour without any preservatives or additives.

Better for you, better for the planet, we continue to work on healthier alternatives, tackling salt reduction, allergens, artificial colours, and artificial flavours.

We offer a range of bacon reduced in fat and salt but crafted to deliver that smoked flavour and crisp texture, naturally. All of our bacon products are cooked and ready-to-eat, with no further preparation required.

World first

PureSmoke™ Technology

We combined world-first PureSmoke™ Technology, from British company Besmoke, with our existing traditional smokers to remove up to 95% impurities naturally present in smoke. Our smoked water ingredient adds a new level of ‘smoke’.
